Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas in Irving, TX is hiring a Seasonal Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This is a Temporary Seasonal Position with a target start date in late September through the end of 2026.

As an OR Circulator, you will deliver direct and indirect patient care, perform assessments, coordinate care, and ensure sterile technique in a fast-paced surgical setting. Requires TX RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS within 6 months, and OR experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current TX Nursing License.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 2 years OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct and indirect patient care per standards, considering patient age and risk.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment with documentation for care planning.
• Takes emergency call as assigned.
• Coordinates care across disciplines and settings.
• Maintains sterile technique and adheres to standards of practice.
• Documents nursing interventions and patient responses in the medical record.
• Provides information to nursing staff about patient status on transfer.
• Ensures physician orders are implemented safely and effectively.
