Job summary

Neiman Marcus in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Seasonal Operations Associate to support the operations team during peak season, focusing on merchandise handling, inventory control, and safe processes.

Reporting to an Operations Manager, you will ensure accurate preparation and shipping of merchandise, price changes, and adherence to safety procedures while maintaining exceptional customer experiences. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience in operations or warehouse roles.
• Familiar with retail and mobile technologies.
• Able to stand, bend, climb stairs and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload and sort inbound merchandise for the selling floor.
• Prepare outbound merchandise for shipment to client, store, or distribution center.
• Complete daily inventory control operations.
• Execute merchandise price changes as needed.

You Will Be

What You Will Do

• Unload and sort inbound merchandise and prepare the merchandise for the selling floor
• Prepare outbound merchandise to be shipped to a client, another store or the distribution center
• Complete daily inventory control operations
• Execute merchandise price changes as needed
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed on the receiving dock and in all other work areas

What You Will Bring

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an operations or warehouse role(s)
• Familiar with and able to use retail and mobile technologies
• Requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include nights, weekends and holidays

Salary And Other Benefits

The starting salary for this position is between $18.00 - $20.00 hourly. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
