Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking Seasonal Operations Associates to help deliver a fun, engaging shopping experience. You’ll ensure shelves are stocked, displays are complete, and stockrooms stay prepared to fulfill orders, with leadership mentoring and a friendly team atmosphere.

Ideal candidates bring customer service or retail experience, solid communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend availability around Thanksgiving and Christmas is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds; heavier items may require team assistance.
• Must be able to work the weekend after Thanksgiving and the days surrounding Christmas.
• Part-time availability to work two or more weekend days and at least one weekday or night.

Responsibilities

• Perform prompt and accurate stock checks, while maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom.
• Assist leadership with ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked and available for customers to purchase.
• Process incoming and outgoing packages, including customer curbside pick-up orders, ship from store, and buy online, pick up in store, in a timely manner.
• Support and maintain store sales and service goals and standards as communicated by the leadership team.
• Drive sales through engagement of customers, sharing and demonstrating product knowledge and product expertise, as needed.
• Lead by example and support store leadership in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellence.
• Have awareness of current promotions, brand initiatives/events, store services, collaborations, and promote them to customers.
• Maintain an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by leadership and/or as outlined in the Associate Policy Manual.
• Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.
