Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking Seasonal Operations Associates to help deliver a memorable shopping experience in our Charlotte, NC store. You will help keep shelves stocked, displays complete, and the stockroom ready to fulfill customer orders while supporting store leadership and team members.

This holiday-friendly role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and collaboration. Weekend availability and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with team support are required, with part-time weekend

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds with team assistance.
• Must be able to work the weekend after Thanksgiving AND the days surrounding Christmas.
• Part-time roles: Availability to work two or more weekend days and at least one weekday or night.

Responsibilities

• Perform prompt and accurate stock checks, while maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom.
• Assist leadership with ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked and available for customers.
• Process incoming/outgoing packages, curbside pick-up orders, ship from store, and BOPIS orders promptly.
• Support and maintain store sales and service goals and standards as communicated by leadership.
• Drive sales through customer engagement, product knowledge, and expertise.
• Lead by example and support leadership in profitability and operational excellence.
• Promote awareness of promotions, brand initiatives/events, store services, collaborations.
• Maintain awareness of loss prevention, security and safety per guidelines.

A day in the life as a Seasonal Operations Associate...

• Perform prompt and accurate stock checks, while maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom.

• Assist the leadership team with ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchase.

• Process incoming and outgoing packages, including customer curbside pick-up orders, ship from store, and buy online, pick up in store, in a timely manner.

• Support and maintain store sales and service goals and standards as communicated by the leadership team.

• Drive sales through engagement of customers, sharing and demonstrating product knowledge and product expertise, as needed.

• Lead by example and support store leadership in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellence.

• Have awareness of current promotions, brand initiatives/events, store services, collaborations, and promote them to customers.

• Maintain an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by leadership and/or as outlined in the Associate Policy Manual.

• Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.
