Crate and Barrel is hiring Seasonal Operations Associates in Annapolis, MD. This holiday, join a diverse and innovative team to keep shelves stocked, displays complete, and stockroom ready to fulfill customer orders.

You’ll work with leadership to uphold service standards and drive sales while enjoying our associate discount. Ideal candidates bring customer service experience, strong communication, and availability to work weekends around Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to move and/ or lift up to 50 pounds; heavier merchandise with team assist.
• Must be able to work the weekend after Thanksgiving AND the days surrounding Christmas.
• Part-Time roles: Availability to work two or more weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and at least one weekday or night.

Responsibilities

• Perform prompt and accurate stock checks, maintain organized stockroom.
• Assist leadership with stocking displays on the sales floor.
• Process incoming and outgoing packages, including curbside pick-up orders, ship from store, and buy online, pick up in store, quickly.
• Support store sales and service goals and standards as communicated by leadership.
• Drive sales through engagement with customers, sharing product knowledge and expertise.
• Lead by example and support store leadership in accountability for store profitability and operational excellence.
• Promote current promotions, brand initiatives/events, store services, collaborations.
• Maintain awareness of loss prevention, security and safety per policy.
• Promote teamwork by working safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently.

A day in the life as a Seasonal Operations Associate...

• Perform prompt and accurate stock checks, while maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom.

• Assist the leadership team with ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchase.

• Drive sales through engagement of customers, sharing and demonstrating product knowledge and product expertise, as needed.

• Lead by example and support store leadership in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellence.

• Have awareness of current promotions, brand initiatives/events, store services, collaborations, and promote them to customers.

• Maintain an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by leadership and/or as outlined in the Associate Policy Manual.

• Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.
