Job summary

Roger’s Gardens in Corona, CA is seeking friendly Seasonal Sales Associates for the holiday busy season. You will help guests select trees, plants, decor, and merchandise, and assist with sales at the POS.

This role requires weekend availability and either full-time or part-time hours, with on-site work and a lively, outdoor-friendly environment. A high school diploma is required, horticulture interest is a plus, and prior retail experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Enrollment or certification in horticulture is preferred.
• Prior retail or sales experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of holiday trees, outdoor plants, and basic horticulture is helpful.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with a variety of customers.
• Comfortable using computers for sales transactions and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Assist guests with product selection, care instructions, and delivery options.
• Process sales and special orders accurately through our POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and festive sales area.
• Participate in all scheduled trainings and team meetings.

• Comfortable using computers for sales transactions and inventory management.
• Ability to lift up to 25 Ibs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Dependable, positive, and collaborative team player.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Enrollment or certification in Horticulture preferred.
• Prior retail or sales experience highly desirable.
