Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Seasonal RN for Medical Cardiac to join our acute care team. This temporary 6-month assignment covers night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am with a pay rate of $60 per hour plus a $5 night shift differential.

Provides safe, competent nursing care per policies; requires active Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS, and critical care experience. Join a team focused on quality care and professional growth with comprehensive benefits and opportunities

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) at time of hire.
Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License.
2 years full-time or 3 years part-time acute care experience.
ACLS as of start date for most units; NRP for Women’s Center; NIH within 90 days for ICU/PCU; PALS/CPI within 90 days for ER; PACU PALS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, competent nursing care according to facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
Demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times.
Maintain communication, basic computer skills, and customer service skills.
Other duties as assigned.
