Job summary

Clarke is seeking a Night Field Technician for overnight mosquito control operations in Pinellas County. You will drive a company vehicle, apply treatments to contracted communities, and navigate routes with a map while documenting activities to ensure contracts are fulfilled.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to work 10:00pm–7:30am, and a high school diploma. Training provided; temporary 2–4 week assignment with paid training.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent with math skills.
• Communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal forms.
• Have a valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to sit and drive a vehicle for extended periods following routes.
• May be required to obtain state pesticide licensing (training provided).
• Capable of using handheld devices including smartphones, GPS, and system apps.
• Comfort operating a vehicle through various residential communities and traffic patterns.

Community Emergency Response Members Needed!

Seasonal Night Driver Technician

Clarke has been retained to provide emergency support in Pinellas County helping to control the population of adult mosquitoes.

We have an IMMEDIATE need for rapid response team members to work during the overnight hours (3rd shift) utilizing a map to navigate and perform adulticiding operations via truck sprayer. We are unsure of the exact duration of the assignment but we are anticipating it will be a 2-4 week assignment.

$25.00 per hour (OT anticipated)

Paid training provided and immediate start!

Must be available to work Monday-Sunday, 10:00pm - ~7:30am (shifts may vary, weekends required)

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A NIGHT FIELD TECHNICIAN

As a Night Field Technician, you are responsible for driving a company vehicle to apply a mosquito control product to contracted communities, subdivisions, industrial sites, and other harborage areas in an effort to control the mosquito population. A map will be given to you by your supervisor for you to utilize as you navigate your truck through treatment routes while abiding all traffic laws. You have excellent attention to detail as you apply treatments accurately, safely, and in a timely manner. Lastly, you document all activity to ensure customer's contracts are completed.

Qualifications For a Night Field Technician

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Possess a high school degree or equivalent with high school level math skills
• Communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal forms
• Have a valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record
• Ability to sit and drive a vehicle for extensive amounts of time following specified routes
• May be required to obtain state required pesticide licensing (training provided)
• Capable of using handheld technical device including, but not limited to, smartphones, GPS, and system applications
• Candidates must be comfortable performing assigned duties while operating a vehicle through various residential communities, urban environments and traffic patterns where environmental conditions are affected by weather, pedestrians and other operating vehicles
• Tolerance to various chemical odors required
