Job summary

Guitar Center seeks a Seasonal Support to greet customers, assess needs, and guide them to the right products while overcoming objections to close sales. You will support store readiness, maintain displays, and build relationships with customers for future service needs.

Key attributes include exceptional customer service, initiative, communication, and product knowledge. This role requires availability nights, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service principles and able to provide an excellent experience
• Able to identify opportunities and take initiative
• Clear, courteous communication with diverse stakeholders
• Guitar Center certification program knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Reach sales targets on services
• Demonstrate product and service knowledge to customers
• Assist customers and guide them through the sales process; onboard and certify as needed
• Continual learning through onboarding, certification, and ongoing education
• Assist with tasks to keep the store ready to conduct business and service customers
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish displays as needed
• Build relationships with customers for future service needs
• Perform additional duties as assigned
