Job summary

Sugarbush Resort is seeking bartenders to join our food and beverage team on a part-time seasonal basis. You will prepare and serve beverages, maintain a clean bar, and ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations in a fast-paced mountain environment.

Hourly rate ranges from $7.50 to $12 plus tips, with compensation based on experience and venue. This role emphasizes guest service and knowledge of Sugarbush and the local area.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1 year of bartending experience required.
• Current Vermont Department of Liquor certification.
• Passion and knowledge of food, wine, and beverages.
• Ability to respond quickly to changing conditions.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift and move a keg; move heavy product on snowy surfaces.
• Inventory and ordering experience a plus.
• Experience in skiing or snowboarding is a plus for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests in a friendly and prompt manner.
• Assist hosts and servers as needed.
• Daily setup, stocking, teardown, and bar cleanliness/sanitation.
• Make informed decisions on proper and safe sale of alcohol.
• Know Sugarbush and surrounding area to answer guest questions.
