Job summary

Crested Butte Mountain Resort is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Crew member for the Crested Butte, CO area. The role supports street and facility maintenance with equipment, trucks and tractors for seasonal work in summer 2026.

The position offers a starting wage of $20.00–$23.00 per hour, part-time hours, and housing availability. Candidates must have at least 1 year of heavy equipment experience and a valid CDL is required for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year heavy equipment experience.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• CDL License required (Class A or B).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work outdoors in an alpine environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment used by the Mt. Ops team.
• Monitor equipment and address issues promptly and communicate with Vehicle Maintenance.
• Physical labor will be required due to the broad scope of the jobs that will be done for the resort.
• Maintenance of signs and repairs and general maintenance.
• Able to take directions and work as part of a team.
• Accurately troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Other duties as assigned
