Job summary

Vail Resorts is now hiring for winter 2026/27, with cooks, drivers, instructors and more. Come work and play in the mountains across 40+ resorts, and enjoy some of the highest compensation rates, free passes, free ski and snowboard lessons, and 40% retail discounts.

Epic Service training and wellness benefits are also offered. Positions are seasonal with full-time and part-time shifts, housing availability, and a focus on food quality, safety and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or certification required or preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant kitchen experience; supervisory kitchen experience preferred.
• ServSafe certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand the use and operation of kitchen equipment and train other kitchen staff.
• Adhere to standards for facility and food preparation, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Maintain knowledge of current menu items and ingredients.
• Prep ingredients and maintain par levels to minimize waste.
• Maintain inventory using FIFO and monitor food waste.
• Other duties as assigned.
