Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company operates Solitude Mountain Resort in Utah and seeks a friendly Restaurant Cashier/Busser to join the Food and Beverage team. You will handle payments, greet guests, and assist with bussing and clearing tables in a fast-paced mountain setting.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and willingness to work holidays and weekends. Seasonal opportunities with benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to obtain/maintain state licenses such as Food Handler’s Permit and Sips & Tips.
• Willing to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Handle money (cash, check, or card) for food/services.
• Scan items, give change, process card payments.
• Greet customers respectfully and accurately price items in POS.
• Scan coupons and apply Solibucks at register.
• Verify ID for alcohol purchases (21+).
• Issue receipts, refunds, and credits; manage cash drawer.
• Maintain clean checkout area and assist with bussing tables.
• Stock deli cooler and beverages; assist dining room cleanliness.
• Provide guest information about mountain details and directions.
• Support staff with additional tasks as needed.
