Job summary

2020 Companies, in partnership with Meta, is hiring part-time Seasonal Meta Sales Specialists to demonstrate and promote Meta products at local Best Buy stores in New York. The role focuses on engaging customers, training store teams, and driving sales during peak season.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6+ months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecommunications, or marketing preferred.
• Interest in Technology, Wearable AI, and/or Virtual Reality technology preferred.
• Comfortable engaging with customers,demonstratingproducts, and confidently asking for the sale
• Customer-first experience mindset.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work weekends and a minimum of three one-time weekday shifts.
• Smartphone required: Equivalent to iPhone 11, Samsung S25 or newer
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, grasp,lift upto 20 lbs. occasionally, and perform continuous hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Bring Meta technology to life through hands-on demonstrations of wearable AI, smart tech, and immersive experiences
• Proactively engage shoppers and create a welcoming, personalized experience
• Create memorable and engaging customer experiences that leave shoppers with a positive impression of Meta and its products
• Demonstrate key product features and benefits based on each customer’s interests and needs
• Guide customers through the full experience, frominitialengagement and product demonstration through confidently asking for the sale
• Keep displays organized, products demo-ready, and the retail experience aligned with Meta brand standards
• Build strong relationships with store teams and keep them informed about current products, features, and promotions
• Track demonstrations, customer engagement, and salesactivitywhile working toward individual and program performance goals
• Stay current on product launches, software updates, and emerging technology
