Job summary

Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado is seeking a Seasonal Retail Merchandise Assistant to support buyers, manage inventory, and maintain appealing displays across Copper-owned shops, including Camp Hale Outfitters. You will handle weekly replenishment from the warehouse, assist guests with sales of soft goods and hard goods, and help limit loss through regular cycle counts.

This role requires independence, teamwork, and a passion for the outdoors.

Qualifications

• Merchandising and inventory control duties at Copper-owned retail facilities.

Responsibilities

• Stay current on trends to maximize store profits and display quality.
• Create merchandising plans and mix to optimize revenues.
• Ensure fresh window displays and interior merchandising at all times.
• Maximize square footage with product to increase revenues per shop.
• Train frontline staff on brand knowledge and products.
• Work the sales floor to assist guests and complete sales.
• Handle cash daily and ring in sales accurately.
• Order merchandise from warehouse to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate tasks to staff and leadership as needed.
