Job summary

Total Wine & More in Spokane, WA seeks Store Team Members to merchandise, assist online orders, stock shelves, and deliver a high-quality shopping experience. Internally called Merchandiser, you’ll report to store management and may also take on sales, front-end, or related duties as needed.

You will greet customers, spotlight products, attend wine and spirits training, and stay current on promotions and loyalty programs while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and supporting digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws - if delivery is added as an essential job function.
• If this job posting is coded as a seasonal role above, you can expect this position to be short term, no longer than six months, and you will have the option to apply for a non-seasonal role.
