Job summary

Xanterra Travel Collection is seeking a Temporary Merchandise Assistant in Greenwood Village, CO to support a team of buyers with data entry, purchase order processing and follow-up. This full-time temporary role runs for about 14 weeks starting the first week of December, partnering with the corporate retail team to keep product flowing to stores.

Qualifications

• Strong data entry skills with high speed and accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail; able to catch and correct errors before they impact orders.
• Proficient in Excel filtering, sorting and basic formulas.
• Comfortable with systems and quick to learn new software, including merchandise management and purchase order systems.
• Works well in a large, collaborative team; able to support multiple people and shifting priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication with consistent, proactive follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Enters, updates and maintains purchase orders in Xanterra's merchandise management system with a high level of accuracy.
• Performs data entry for new item setup, including product attributes, costs, retails and vendor information.
• Tracks open purchase orders and follows up with vendors on order confirmations, ship dates and delivery delays.
• Communicates PO status, changes and issues to the buyers in a timely manner.
• Maintains and updates Excel trackers, sales reports and buying worksheets as directed by the buyers.
• Supports multiple buyers at once; prioritizes requests and meets deadlines.
• Other duties and projects assigned.
