Job summary

Northwest Medical Center Houghton is seeking an RN for day shift Seasonal Med Surg/Tele assignments in Tucson, AZ. A 13-week or 26-week contract provides flexible staffing to meet unit needs, with 3 12-hour shifts per week and an opportunity to earn premium rates.

The RN will deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinate with the care team, monitor patients, administer meds, and participate in performance improvement and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of med surg/inpatient experience in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure required; BCLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Ability to provide patient-centered care and document clearly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Administers prescribed meds and monitors for side effects.
• Collaborates with physicians and teams to implement care plans.
