Job summary

Northgate Gonzalez Market is seeking a Commissary Meat Clerk to support the Raw Production Management team, fulfill daily production orders, and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. The role involves picking, staging, and loading, rotating product by date, and coordinating with QA to uphold quality and freshness.

Expect a fast-paced environment in the meat production area, with strict adherence to PPE, GMP, and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent education.
• Must be able to operate pallet-wrapping machines.
• Must have a solid attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations; adhere to all state, country and local weights and measure laws.
• Mix ingredients, cut, dice, products as needed in meat production area.
• Moves product from one location to another in a safe and efficient manner.
• Code date and rotate all prepared cuts or products placed in temporary storage areas to ensure proper product rotation, quality and freshness.
• Performs all picking, staging, and loading activities to ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner.
• Communicate temperature irregularities to department manager.
• Maintain proper and safe operation of equipment and follow safety guidelines.
