Job summary

Oxbow is seeking a Seasonal Meadow & Landscape Technician to support native meadow gardens and general grounds at our Snoqualmie Valley site. You will work under supervision with the Landscaping Lead to install and tend seasonal meadow and landscape features, highlighting Pacific Northwest biodiversity.

Responsibilities include caring for meadows, basic grounds upkeep, and operating equipment. Requires knowledge of native plants, safety with tools, and a flexible schedule that may include

Qualifications

Knowledge of native meadow species, landscaping or ecological restoration.
Interest in native plants and incorporating them into landscapes.
Safe use and maintenance of motorized equipment and hand tools.
Awareness of safety precautions in grounds maintenance.
Valid Washington driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Background check required; ability to work some weekends and events.

Responsibilities

Care for existing meadow and native landscapes: weeding, irrigation, soil movement, mulching, plant installation.
Provide basic grounds maintenance: mowing, weed-whacking, lawn care, pruning.
Clear brush from trails and driveways; maintain paths and roads.
Operate and maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles; perform other duties as assigned.
