Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour

Additional $1.50 shift differential from 6 pm to 6 am

What We Need From You

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of related experience
• Intermediate communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Basic math and reading skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in freezers with subzero temperatures for 4-8 hours per day
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day

Responsibilities

• Successfully move materials, supplies, and finished goods through the facility, including unloading frozen food products from semi-trucks into warehouse freezers and loading frozen food from warehouse freezers into delivery trucks
• Move materials and supplies using material handling equipment such as carts, conveyor belts, and pallet jacks
• Stack skids or pallets in designated areas, and handle scrap, cardboard, and strapping disposal
• Place items in proper containers or designated areas
• Use tools such as hammers and crowbars to remove strapping, open crates, and strap cars
• Use lists to determine and count quantities of products moving throughout the facility
• Complete paperwork to document work performed, possibly using a computer
• Conduct intermediate material audits
• Perform other duties as assigned, such as general maintenance and processing load sheets
• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as bump caps, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, hair and beard nets, gloves, and safety shoes or rubber boots as required
