Hours of operation:

• October-April
  • Monday-Sunday 9am-5pm
• May-September
  • Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm
  • Friday-Sunday 9am-9pm

The Glen Ivy Massage Therapist is responsible for nurturing the experience of all Glen Ivy guests, from the initial greeting to the warm farewell. All employees promote the core values of the company and embody its vision, mission, and commitments.

Position Qualification Requirements

Shifts Available: Monday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and 1:15 PM to 5:00 PM. One full weekend shift is required.

License(s): Current State of California Massage Certification/License or Riverside County License accepted.

Education/Training: Minimum 500 hours training from an accredited massage school (for part-time and full-time positions).

Experience:

• 1-2 years’ experience as a massage therapist preferred
• 1-2 years’ experience in guest service or hospitality setting preferred

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support and participate in in-house continuing education, training, and meetings
• Provide all services offered at Glen Ivy Hot Springs, with some exceptions possibly unless in-house training is provided
• Customize services to guest needs and preferences
• Maintain cleaning and disinfecting procedures
• Provide after-care instructions to each guest, including at least one retail product suggestion
• Maintain a flexible work schedule
• Keep a positive attitude
• Complete all tasks timely and consistently
• Ensure full service time or communicate with guests if adjustments are needed
• Follow protocols to match product and linen costs with treatment design
• Attend department pre-shift meetings for updates
• Participate in daily stretching at pre-shift meetings
• Conduct yourself professionally at all times
• Adhere to uniform and appearance standards before clocking in
