Job summary

Samtec, Inc. is hiring a Seasonal Manufacturing Production Operator to join our assembly and machine-based production team. The role covers setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery, plus soldering and component assembly with quality inspections.

You will read blueprints, measure tolerances, and log production data while meeting safety standards. The position runs 5–6 months with opportunities on 1st and 3rd shifts, requiring high school diploma and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or assembly line experience preferred.
• Ability to read job specifications, schematics, and prints; perform basic math.
• Detail orientation and accuracy in quality checks.
• Able to use measuring devices and interpret instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with basic computer tasks and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and operate machinery for production tasks.
• Set up tooling and adjust equipment as needed.
• Perform quality inspections and document results.
• Interpret blueprints and ensure product conforms to specs.
