Join our dynamic team as a Seasonal Maintenance Worker for Lynn Creek Park! In this crucial role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of City facilities and grounds. Dive into a variety of tasks, from routine maintenance of building interiors and exteriors to meticulous groundskeeping. Engage with the community, interacting with both City colleagues and citizens. Maintain the golf course grounds, running mowers, weedeaters, and irrigation work. Work begins at 5am, and weekends.

1. Maintains the exterior of facilities by sweeping sidewalks; remove litter, debris, and trash; mowing lawns; replacing exterior lights; and irrigation.
2. Maintains grounds by picking up litter; cleaning and repairing restrooms; emptying trash barrels; mowing grass; trimming trees; planting shrubs and flowers; and maintaining turf.
3. Provides customer service to the public by providing information as requested; and ensuring the security of guests.
4. All other duties as assigned by a supervisor/manager within your department/division. Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality for the assigned work hours is essential.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Work requires the ability to read and understand written instructions, to understand simple processes and the routine operation of machines. Level of knowledge equivalent to less than high school or equivalency.
• Experience: Under and including one year.
• Licenses: Valid Driver's License required.
