Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Seasonal Temporary Maintenance Tech I, Day Shift to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment, ensuring safe, reliable operations.

You will perform preventive maintenance, read electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings, coordinate with vendors and support new processes, while meeting safety guidelines and quality standards. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs and working on-site in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience reading electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and general maintenance processes.
• Associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience in maintenance.
• Active Journeyman license.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain a wide variety of equipment associated with the facility.
• Maintain knowledge of plant layout and safety policies.
• Maintain facilities infrastructure in carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical work; coordinate third-party services.
• Perform advanced plumbing work including installing and replacing fixtures and clearing obstructions.
• Assist in implementing new processes and equipment.
• Process products that require testing and mechanical evaluation.
• Complete cosmetic repairs to restore products to sellable condition.
• Perform scheduled routine machine maintenance and document upkeep.
• Complete preventive maintenance and document parts usage and repair work.
