Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Day shift, Monday–Friday, 10:00am–8:30pm, with responsibilities spanning electrical, mechanical, plumbing and facilities maintenance, plus coordinating third-party service providers as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience reading electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain a wide variety of equipment in the facility.
• Maintain knowledge of plant layout and safety policies.
• Maintain facilities infrastructure across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical work; coordinate third-party providers as needed.
• Perform advanced plumbing work including installing, repairing and replacing fixtures and clearing obstructions.
• Assist in implementing new processes and equipment.
• Process products requiring testing and mechanical evaluation.
• Complete cosmetic repairs to restore products to saleable condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document activities.
