Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a hotel maintenance position preferred.
• One year of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, or technical discipline is preferred but not required.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the property grounds, public areas, and hotel guest rooms.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Paint, replace electrical accessories, and maintain HVAC systems.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs.
• Respond to maintenance orders in a timely manner.
• Fulfill work orders promptly.
• Complete daily rounds to identify and report problems.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred.
• One (1) year of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, or technical discipline is preferred but not required.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry.
