Responsibilities

• Empty trash containers and clean/sanitize restrooms and vault toilets.
• Perform routine grounds and building maintenance.
• Perform weed eating and mowing in park areas.
• Clean and sanitize shower houses and campgrounds facilities.
• Maintain park trail system.
• Assist full-time staff on maintenance projects.
• Assist full-time staff with recycle program.
• Maintain a valid vehicle operator’s license and operate park vehicles safely.
• Clean Outpost Cabins.

This position will be located at Lake of the Ozarks State Park, 403 Hwy 134, Brumley, MO 65017.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays, weekends, and night shifts.

This is a temporary, seasonal position, not to exceed 1,000 hours total during the length of the employment.

Duration of Assignment

October - March

• Empty trash containers and clean/sanitize restrooms and vault toilets.
• Perform routine grounds and building maintenance.
• Perform weed eating and mowing as needed throughout the park.
• Clean and sanitize shower houses in the campground and clean fire pits in the campground area.
• Maintain park trail system.
• Assist full time staff on maintenance projects.
• Assist full time staff with recycle program.
• Maintain a valid vehicle operator’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle and small equipment safely.
