S&S Activewear in Olathe, KS is hiring a Seasonal Restock Driver for a full-time, seasonal role. You will retrieve inventory from floor and up-stock storage, deliver to stocking or shipping areas, and operate warehouse machinery following safety rules.

Position is Sunday-Thursday, 12 PM-8:30 PM, onsite at 15400 S. Green Road, Olathe, KS 66061. 90-day seasonal term with potential extension or full-time consideration.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to use electronic devices and basic computer/reporting skills.
• Able to follow detailed instructions.
• Experience operating warehouse machinery (Forklift/Cherry Picker).
• Able to stand/walk 8+ hours per day.
• Able to bend, stoop, twist repetitively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to count and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to read English labels and instructions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment (Forklift, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, etc.).
• Perform daily safety inspections for equipment.
• Maintain productivity and meet minimum CPH requirements.
• Retrieve inventory from up-stock and floor locations and deliver to designated areas.
• Use warehouse software and barcode scanners.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse and follow leadership directions.
• Participate in routine cleaning and safety tasks.
• Contribute to a positive work environment.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Seasonal Restock Driver will be responsible for retrieving inventory from both floor locations and up-stock storage for Product Transfers and deliver to the designated area for stocking or shipment. The Restock Driver is required to operate machinery following all safety rules and regulations.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

$21.12 hourly

Sunday - Thursday (12PM-8:30PM), Seasonal Full-Time, Non-exempt

Onsite: 15400 S. Green Road - Olathe, KS 66061

NOTE:As a seasonal hire you have a defined employment time period of 90 days from date of hire. Depending on business needs this has the potential of being shortened or extended at managements discretion. There also may be an opportunity to be hired into a full-time position if one becomes available but this is not guaranteed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Operate material handling equipment needed to perform primary role i.e; Forklift, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser (Cart), Pallet jack, Scanners, Tablets and Company WMS.
• Perform and complete daily safety inspection check list for all equipment used.
• Maintain productivity minimum requirements CPH, and work with a sense of urgency
• Retrieve inventory from up-stock and floor locations and deliver to designated areas
• Operate barcode scanner and use warehouse software
• Act professionally and remain focused while working
• Safely operate all warehouse equipment
• Follow directions of leadership
• Perform cleaning activities as required
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Must be 18 years or older
• Have the physical strength and dexterity to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to use electronic devices and basic computer/reporting skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery - Forklift/Cherry Picker Driver Experience
• Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day

• Ability to work independently without close supervision
• Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers quickly and accurately
• Ability to read and understand labels written in English
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when required

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

Must be able to wear proper safety equipment if required (examples include safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest). Note: PPE is company-provided with a $100 stipend on safety-toe shoes after 90 days of employment if required for your specific role - not all roles require specific PPE. Please check with your HR/Training team for details on if your role requires specific PPE.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

In performing the job of a Restock Driver, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision and hearing are required for the operation of warehouse machinery.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool.
• The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
