Job summary

Corto Olive, LP is seeking a Seasonal Logistics Coordinator to manage olive loads, coordinate truck traffic, and ensure traceability from reception through production. This on-site role at our Stockton facility operates in a 24/7 season from mid-October to early December, with shifts up to 12 hours and six days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Execute duties per SOPs, checklists and operational requirements.
  • Maintain traceability records for olive loads, oil and byproducts.
  • Receive, monitor, and assign olive loads to production lines and storage.
  • Coordinate load movements with Milling Supervisors and transport providers.
  • Communicate status of inbound deliveries and shipments via phone/email.
  • Reconcile load data and investigate discrepancies; implement corrective actions.
  • Manage out-of-specification loads with Milling Supervisor per quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot logistics, inventory, scheduling, and equipment issues affecting safety or production.
  • Adhere to safety, food safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in safety/compliance training and report hazards or incidents.
  • Support continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.

Position Title: Seasonal Logistics Coordinator

Reports to: Shift Supervisor

Department: Operations

Classification: Seasonal, Hourly (Non-Exempt)

The Seasonal Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing incoming fruit loads, coordinating truck traffic logistics, and ensuring accurate load tracking and traceability throughout operations. This role oversees the Weighmaster and Fruit Analyst functions, supports efficient movement of raw materials, and maintains accurate operational records. The Seasonal Logistics Coordinator works closely with production, transportation partners, and site leadership to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

Corto Harvest is a 24/7 operation from mid-October to early December so the ability to work any shift, at least 6 days per week, is required and a willingness to work up to 12 hours if needed.

This position will be primarily responsible for:
  • Executing assigned duties in accordance with established work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, reaction plans, and operational requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete traceability records for olive loads, olive oil, and byproducts throughout all stages of the production process.
  • Receiving, monitoring, and assigning olive loads to production lines and storage casks based on production schedules, operational priorities, and capacity requirements.
  • Coordinating load movements with Milling Supervisors, Team Leads, and transportation providers to support safe, efficient, and timely production operations.
  • Conducting outbound phone and email communications to monitor and track the status of inbound deliveries, outbound shipments, and transportation activities.
  • Verifying the accuracy and integrity of load data through routine reconcilations, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Partnering with the Milling Supervisor to identify, communicate, document, and appropriately manage out-of-specification loads in accordance with quality and operational standards.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving logistics, inventory, scheduling, and equipment‑related problems that may impact safety, product quality, production continuity, or operational efficiency.
  • Adhering to all company safety policies, procedures, food safety requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Participating in required safety and compliance training and promptly reporting unsafe conditions, hazards, incidents, or work practices.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, process effectiveness, and data accuracy.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of experience in production, logistics, manufacturing, agricultural, or related environment.
Physical Requirements:

Moderate lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; rare stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity: 50% or more sitting, 25% or less walking, and 25% or more standing. The job is performed under frequent temperature variations and in an manufacturing environment. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift up to 45 lbs. is required.
