Job summary

The Honey Baked Ham Company, LLC is seeking a Seasonal Delivery Driver to support Pop-Up Retail locations in the local area. You will retrieve product from hub stores and transport it safely to events, ensuring timely delivery and accurate manifests.

We offer flexible hours, a casual environment, and associate discounts on our delicious products. Note: long hours during the holiday season and physical tasks such as lifting up to 65 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Must safely operate a 14–26 ft refrigerated truck for local deliveries.
• Valid driver's license and current DOT medical card.
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen, MVR check and DOT background.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CDL not required.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at HUB store to get product for Pop-Up Retail locations.
• Complete Truck Assessment checklist at the start of each delivery day.
• Secure products in the truck with straps or loading bars.
• Safely transport products to Pop-Up Retail locations.
• Place product on reassembled flatbed cart for the location.
• Take expired product and place in empty boxes and return to home store.
• Complete the delivery manifest checklist and ensure all product is accounted for and delivered accurately, as well as returned to store when needed.
• Complete temp logs to ensure product food safety standards are met.
