Job summary

Hendler Family Brewing Company is seeking a dependable Part-Time Local Delivery Driver for the busy fall season, Aug–Oct, with potential extension to ongoing part-time work. The role covers local deliveries in the Greater Boston area using Sprinter vans, involving lifting and moving beer products, and providing excellent customer service.

The position offers 24 hours per week, with a schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely move and double-stack full kegs weighing up to 165 pounds using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, and perform physical work throughout an 8+ hour shift.
• Excellent attendance, reliability, and time management.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work the regular schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with occasional flexibility based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company Sprinter van throughout Greater Boston and surrounding communities.
• Deliver beer, kegs, and other brewery products to customers and company locations.
• Load, unload, and secure products to ensure safe transportation.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance concerns.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and complete required delivery documentation.
• Represent Hendler Family Brewing Company professionally while interacting with customers, vendors, and business partners.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
• Assist with loading delivery vehicles and organizing deliveries before departure.
