Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Cooks to join our Detroit Hockeytown Restaurant team in Detroit, Michigan. As a Cook, you will prepare food to recipe standards in a fast-paced kitchen and contribute to a memorable guest experience.

This role offers weekly pay, flexible schedules and opportunities for training, with benefits including health, dental and vision, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. Prior experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced kitchen with a high level of attention to detail.
• Able to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions.
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients.
• No experience or diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Follow supervisor's assignments for food production and prepare food and beverage products for guests by following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines.
• Set up, operate and clean kitchen equipment, according to correct procedures as well as keeping workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
• Work cooperatively with team members and management.
• Follow supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures.
