Job description

Harrison Meadows is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Lead Line Cook. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

Compensation: $18 to $25 per hour, BOE.

Key Responsibilities of the Lead Line Cook:

  1. Prepares the proper amount of food according to production or forecast sheets and production plans.
  2. Prepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product.
  3. Learns and maintains standards in food production and quality.
  4. Expedites orders in a timely manner.
  5. Practices excellent operational sanitation.
  6. Executes scheduled banquet functions.
  7. Checks and dates all deliveries received, reporting any variances to the chef in charge.
  8. Verifies that all coolers are at the proper temperatures and are cleaned daily.
  9. Monitors inventory rotation to maintain fresh product with minimal waste.
  10. Prepares inventory requisitions and receives supplies as necessary for quality production.
  11. Communicates equipment repair needs with the chef in a timely manner.
  12. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Food Safety and Sanitation Training.

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job.

Compensation is based on experience.
