Job summary

Sugarbush Resort in Vermont is hiring lift operators for the winter season. Join a dedicated team delivering exceptional guest service and supporting safety as guests load, ride, and unload chairlifts.

Positions are full- and part-time with holiday and weekend availability. Wages start at $18 to $19.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Candidates should be at least 18, have a high school diploma, and be able to work outdoors in varied weather. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in variable weather.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and work weekends/holidays.
• Must pass safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate chair lift and assist guests.
• Monitor lift operation and report issues.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain lift area and ensure safety hazards are addressed.
• Greet customers and monitor RFID passes.
• Assist with training new employees.
• Answer questions about the resort and conditions.
• Follow safety guidelines.
