Job summary

Wenatchee High School is seeking temporary seasonal lifeguards for 2026-2027 to support athletic swim programs and pool activities. Positions are open until filled, with responsibilities including supervision, emergency response, and safety education.

Applicants must hold current Lifeguard Certificate, First Aid/CPR/AED, and WA acceptance. ARC/ YMCA training preferred. This role is non-benefits eligible and based at Wenatchee High School in Wenatchee, WA.

Qualifications

• First Aid/CPR/AED certification required (Washington state accepted).
• Current Lifeguard Certificate required; ARC/ YMCA preferred.
• Water safety and accident prevention knowledge; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support athletic swim programs and pool users under the Aquatics Coordinator.
• Act as rescuer/caregiver in emergencies; enforce rules for safety.
• Educate athletes and pool users about pool safety and rules.
• Attend staff trainings and meetings; report issues to supervisor.
