Job summary

Continental Pools is seeking Lifeguards for the summer season in Fairfax, VA. As a Lifeguard, you will ensure the safety of pool patrons through active monitoring and respond to emergencies, including water rescues. Required qualifications include current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications, along with the ability to work flexibly during peak summer holidays. Qualifications

• Meet minimum age requirements for lifeguards (typically 15–16+).
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and respond to emergencies.

Skills

Ability to remain alert and continuously monitor the pool area

Physically able to perform rescues and assist distressed individuals

Customer service or prior pool experience

Education

Current Lifeguard certification
