Job summary

Cullman Parks, Recreation, & Sports Tourism is seeking a lifeguard for part-time, hourly work. Candidates must obtain or hold current Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and First Aid certifications, with training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold or obtain current Red Cross Lifeguarding certification.
• CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and First Aid certifications required or training provided.
• Ability to pass pre-employment skills test and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility.
• Provide emergency care and treatment until EMS arrival.
• Present professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Perform maintenance duties to keep the facility safe and clean.
• Attend meetings as required by supervisors.
• Collaborate with CPRST staff and City of Cullman to support CPRST mission.
