An established educational institution is looking for a part-time, seasonal Landscape and Grounds Attendant to ensure the safety and maintenance of its facilities. This role involves performing gardening tasks, maintaining athletic fields, and supporting special events. Ideal candidates will have experience in landscaping or maintenance, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to effective communication. Under the general supervision of the Grounds Manager, the Landscape Grounds Attendant will be responsible for providing students and users of SPA with safe and properly maintained facilities. The Grounds Department maintains athletic fields, landscape beds, playgrounds, green spaces, and parking lots to meet the needs of the SPA community.
Hours are typically from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional overtime for special events or projects (seasonal).
Pay rate: $16-$17 per hour.
Successful applicants should communicate well with the community, be decisive, and maintain reliable work hours. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and be available to work daytime hours and possibly weekends. Preferred experience includes work in ice arenas, golf courses, landscaping, or maintenance/custodial roles.
