The U.S. Department of the Interior is seeking a seasonal Laborer for Olympic National Park. The role involves assisting in grounds and road maintenance, requiring physical stamina and experience with heavy equipment. Olympic National Park is primarily known for its temperate rain forest and hot springs. It contains three distinct ecosystems: subalpine forest, temperate rain forest, and the coast. Its primary appeal is its beauty—snow-capped peaks, pristine lakes, moss-laden rainforests, and the stunning Pacific Coast.

Volunteer Experience: Experience includes paid and unpaid work, such as volunteer work through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations. Volunteer work helps develop critical skills and experience relevant to this position. Credit will be given for all qualifying experience, including volunteer work.
CTAP/ICTAP Statement: Current surplus and displaced Federal employees with priority under CTAP or ICTAP must be well qualified, meeting all OPM standards and requirements, including proof of eligibility (agency notice, performance rating, SF-50). Applicants applying as CTAP/ICTAP eligible should annotate their application accordingly.
