The Department of Conservation and Recreation is seeking a Seasonal Laborer I for Cochituate State Park. This role involves performing maintenance duties, assisting visitors, and operating vehicles. The position requires flexibility with work hours, including weekends and holidays.
Location: Cochituate State Park
Duration: 4/20/25-10/13/25 (25 Weeks) @40 hrs/week
Schedule: Split shift; includes nights, weekends, and holidays
The Department of Conservation and Recreation manages one of the largest and most diverse state park systems in the nation, protecting natural resources and providing outdoor recreational opportunities throughout Massachusetts. The system includes over 450,000 acres of parks, forests, water protection lands, beaches, lakes, ponds, playgrounds, swimming pools, skating rinks, trails, and parkways.
The Department seeks qualified applicants for the position of Seasonal Laborer I. A resume must be submitted as part of the application, specifically attached to the requisition for which you are applying.
Salaries are based on a 40-hour workweek. Work schedules and days off are at the discretion of the supervisor. The position may require working on weekends and holidays.
