Job description

The Town of Watertown is accepting applications for the position of Seasonal Laborer in the Parks and Recreation Department's Parks Division.The hourly rate of pay will be $16.85 and benefits are not included.

POSITION: The laborer's general duties include working with hand tools, mowing lawns, weed whacking, snow and ice control; may work with small machines; and may drive trucks as required.This position is under the general direction of the Working Foreman.

QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum qualifications are average manual dexterity and agility; good physical condition, ability to work with others and the public; ability to follow written and oral instructions.

REQUIREMENTS:The minimum requirements are must be physically able to do manual labor and have a current CT Driver's License.Must be able to pass a background check, physical and drug screening.Some familiarity with hand tools.
