Job summary

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Worker I – Label Line Equipment Operator for 1st Shift. You will safely operate palletizer, label, depalletizer, and casing machines in a production facility, ensuring accurate daily reports and compliance with safety standards.

This temporary seasonal position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior manufacturing or food production experience is preferred, and bilingual English/Spanish

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate palletizer, label, depalletizer, and casing machines.
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Compliance with OSHA, GMP, and safety standards.
• Ability to perform lockout/tagout procedures.
• Experience operating production or packaging machinery.
• Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate palletizer, label, depalletizer, and casing machines and all related components.
• Monitor palletizer to ensure correct labeling of exiting product; report issues.
• Check labels on cans; remove damaged labels and cans; ensure Tensor ID Vision System works.
• Record all cans removed on the indirect labeling record per protocol.
• Keep carton in-feed conveyor properly supplied with correctly oriented cartons.
• Communicate with stock controllers and supervisors to ensure accurate documentation.
• Submit daily reports, pallet tags, and related documentation (Brye Tag, Red Prairie).
• Perform changeovers, lockout/tagout, and clear cans/foreign materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following housekeeping standards.
• Comply with OSHA, GMP, and safety standards.
