Job summary

SGS is seeking a Seasonal Lab Technician to prepare samples with accuracy and precision under supervision. You will work as part of a team to meet daily production targets and ensure hold times and turnaround times are met while following safe laboratory practices.

Under adequate training, you will perform SOP-driven sample preparation, instrument calibration, and data entry to support laboratory operations. SGS emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience in analytical chemistry laboratories or biological laboratories.
• Prior experience working with one’s hands.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis according to SGS’ SOPs and department methods.
• Perform routine operation, maintenance and calibration of prep instruments/equipment.
• Input and maintain technical information to support laboratory functions/operations.
• Maintain Laboratory Notebook and adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
