Job summary

Boca Raton Regional Hospital, part of Baptist Health, seeks a Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse for the Seasonal Nursing Pool in Labor & Delivery. This per diem, 12-hour shift role requires flexibility to float to all hospital areas and work three shifts weekly, including every other weekend.

The program is temporary and excludes PTO and certain benefits. Qualified candidates hold an ASN, FL RN license, and BLS; ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required per unit, with 2 years minimum nursing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing.
• ASN and active Florida RN license; BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP per unit requirement.
• Float to all hospital areas as needed during the contract.
• Work three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend for 36 hours.
• Seasonal Nursing Pool excludes PTO and certain Baptist Health/Boca Raton benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care in Labor & Delivery as part of the DPC RN team.
• Assess, plan, implement and document patient care with family-centered approach.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and support staff to ensure quality outcomes.
