Seasonal Kitchen Assistant (Sur La Table)

The role involves interacting with customers, supporting digital growth, and providing behind-the-scenes support, all aimed at creating happiness through cooking and sharing good food.

About the Job: What You’ll Do

• Provide outstanding customer service to create memorable experiences.
• Assist with food prep, class setup, and shopping for ingredients.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen before, during, and after classes.
• Support instructors during classes and seek opportunities to help.
• Contribute to store goals through product knowledge and sales.
• Handle alcohol as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: What You’ll Need

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise or kitchen equipment up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Proficiency in chopping, whisking, slicing, stirring, and using kitchen equipment.
• Flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Valid Food Handlers and/or Food Manager Certification.
• Preferred: 1 year of retail sales or food prep and kitchen operations experience.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
