The Seasonal Kitchen Assistant contributes to the store's success by inspiring customers throughout their culinary journey. They support the Resident Chef in driving business results and blend a passion for cooking and entertaining.

About the Job: Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and create memorable experiences
• Assist with food prep, class setup, and shopping for ingredients
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen before, during, and after classes
• Support instructors during classes and help identify opportunities to assist
• Contribute to store goals through product knowledge and sales
• May handle alcohol
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift and move merchandise or kitchen equipment up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Proficiency in chopping, whisking, slicing, stirring, and using kitchen equipment
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends
• Valid Food Handlers and/or Food Manager Certification
• Preferred: 1 year retail sales, food prep, or kitchen operations experience
• Must be at least 16 years old
