Job summary

The Salvation Army Milwaukee Citadel is seeking a Seasonal Kettle Driver for the Milwaukee area to support the kettle campaign during the holiday season. The role involves driving the corps vehicle and assisting with various kettle-related tasks.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading kettles, supervising bell ringers, greeting volunteers, recording times for payroll, and ensuring equipment and vehicles are maintained and secure.

• Experience: Driving experience
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with clearance to drive from Salvation Army insurance

• Drop off, pick up and periodic check up on bell ringers.
• Loading and unloading the kettles.
• Cleaning and upkeep corps vehicles.
• Lock up and secure the building if needed.
• Greeting volunteers.
• Ring bells
• Collecting bellringer aprons and bells at the end of shifts.
• Recording bellringers start and end times accurately and submitting to payroll.
• Answering or re-directing questions asked by bell ringers and volunteers.
• Fixing kettle equipment (bells, kettle stands, etc.)
• Assembling kettle tags.

Join a team whose driving force is "Doing the Most Good." The Salvation Army Milwaukee Citadel is hiring for the Christmas Season. We are looking for a Kettle Driver to spread the holiday cheer, this is a seasonal position, open to both full-time and part-time opportunities.

The Seasonal Kettle Driver will drive the corps vehicle during the kettle season to specifically help assist with the kettle campaign.

About The Role
