Job summary

Park Rapids High School Athletics is seeking a dedicated Junior High Baseball Coach for the 2027 Spring season. The role focuses on mentoring student-athletes and promoting teamwork in a positive environment.

Responsibilities include planning practices, developing game plans, monitoring progress, and communicating with families and staff. CPR/First Aid certification is required or willing to obtain; a background check will be completed.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching baseball at middle/high school or collegiate level preferred.
• Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals, rules, and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Must pass a background check and comply with district policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct daily practice sessions focused on skill development and teamwork.
• Develop and implement game plans and strategies for competitive matches.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team culture emphasizing sportsmanship and collaboration.
• Monitor and evaluate player performance, providing constructive feedback.
• Communicate with players, parents, and school staff regarding schedules and policies.
• Assist in organizing and supervising games, tournaments, and fundraisers.
