Job summary

Duluth Trading Company is seeking a Seasonal Janitor for our Adairsville facility near Atlanta, GA. This onsite role focuses on keeping the office areas, lobby, restrooms, and break rooms clean and safe, with nightly trash/recycling and routine dusting and vacuuming.

You will support operations by maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with floor stripping/waxing experience preferred.

Position Overview

The Seasonal Janitor is responsible for ensuring a clean and safe working environment for all Duluth Trading employees.

Position Details

Work Environment:

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain cleanliness in the office areas and main lobby.
  • Trash and recycle paper removal -nightly
  • Vacuum floors
  • Dust all work surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness of all restrooms in the facility
• Maintain cleanliness of main lunchroom and secondary break rooms.
• Recommend purchases of cleaning supplies. Maintain inventory and communicate to warehouse supervisor when replenishment of supplies is needed.
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma
  • Equivalent work experience would be considered
  • Floor stripping and waxing experience preferred
• Ability to adjust daily task schedule as needed to support the operations
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Environmental Factors:

• Standing or walking for up to eight hours a day.
• Frequently lifting up to thirty pounds, occasionally lifting up to seventy pounds.
• Frequently reaching, twisting, and bending in multiple directions.
• Ability to perform work in tight quarter workstations.
• Moderate warehouse noise level.
• Push/pull a picking cart and/or pallet of up to five hundred pounds.
• Continuous arm, hand, and wrist movement (i.e.: folding garments).
• Work in temperatures ranging from 50 – 95 degrees.
• The ability to walk long distances
• The ability to climb flights of stairs throughout the day
• The ability to either stand for long periods of time
• The ability to remain in a stationary position, often sanding for prolonged periods of times
• Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work area to another
• Adjusting or moving objects over 20 lbs. in all directions

Position Compensation Outline

Compensation Range: $18-19/hour base pay plus any applicable peak premiums.
